The Creative Executive invests a lot of time building trust with its clients. First, it strives to understand the clients’ vision and values, the unique experiences of its employees, and what they want to accomplish in the long run. The Creative Executive then comes up with a game plan tailored to have a mix of both individual and team experiences. In addition, the company usually works closely with an internal advocate—a C-suite or senior executive or HR partner—to help them navigate through the intricacies of the client’s business processes and understand their vision, strategy, and goals.
Due to their focus on impact and implementation, The Creative Executive has long-term relationships with many of their clients. In one example, the company worked with a client during a major leadership transition after the retirement of one of its founders. The entirely new leadership team, many longtime employees, needed help codifying the vision for the future and creating more consistent management practices across the company. Through a series of assessments, facilitated offsites, one-on-one coaching, and workshops, The Creative Executive was able to set the client’s leadership in the right strategic direction, helping them define and expand their leadership impacts as they continued to grow. As the organization was able to operate with more transparency, the middle managers could better influence the workforce, effectively helping the company scale their leadership. The engagements of executives with their teams expanded beyond normal day-to-day activities, augmenting the clients’ culture and team cohesion. The Creative Executive worked with the client to create a mentorship program, a social impact strategy, and corporate citizenship and DEI councils, helping the client amplify and systemize leadership development opportunities for their employees. As a result, in the five years of engagement, the client’s revenue doubled in size, and it is now a multi billion dollar company.
