Engagedly has officially introduced an AI help desk aimed at facilitating HR and employee access to resources through a chatbot named Ask Marissa. This solution has been designed to comprehend and respond to employee queries in natural language, providing solutions to frequently asked questions.
Engagedly positions Ask Marissa as a means to revolutionize HR interactions, streamlining the traditionally labor-intensive task of addressing employee queries and thereby saving time for HR professionals. Furthermore, Engagedly asserts that Ask Marissa will enhance the overall employee experience.
This innovative solution establishes a dedicated "Resources" library, powered by another Engagedly product called Marissa AI, making information more readily available to employees. Ask Marissa will not only respond to inquiries but also provide access to pertinent source documents, covering a wide range of everyday questions on topics such as health plans, vacation policies, travel policies, and talent management processes.
Moreover, Engagedly claims that Ask Marissa's approach will substantially reduce the need for extensive back-and-forth interactions with HR teams as employees seek answers to routine questions.
Elevating HR Efficiency
Engagedly's President and CEO, Sri Chellappa, emphasized that employing Ask Marissa's approach will enable HR professionals to shift their focus from tactical day-to-day tasks to more strategic activities.
Ask Marissa was initially introduced in July when Engagedly integrated the chatbot as an enhancement to Marissa AI. Concurrently, the company also unveiled an employee help desk designed to address inquiries related to the employee handbook, company policies, leaves, and other relevant topics.
Marissa AI was initially launched in February and was positioned as an AI enablement coach aimed at promoting improved communication between employees and managers. The product provided feedback to facilitate better interactions and offered companies valuable insights derived from engagement surveys and listening tools integrated into the platform.
Engagedly's research indicates that numerous HR departments are already utilizing AI for various tasks related to performance management, employee engagement and satisfaction, learning and development, talent acquisition, and employee assistance. Approximately 45% of HR professionals currently employ AI for HR management, while an additional 39% have plans to incorporate it in the near future.
