Many organizations recruit diverse employees—some may be closer to retirement, and others may be fresh graduates. This may lead to employees facing unique financial stressors from each other.
FREMONT, CA: Today, the workforce and their requirements are noticeably changing, and employers are reviewing their employee wellness programs to meet their employees’ needs efficiently. 76 percent of employees think their workplace is responsible for their health and well-being, according to a recent survey. And as per another survey, 87 percent of employees expect their company to support them to balance their work and personal lives. These statistics highlight the interconnectivity between engagement and well-being and reveal how much employees expect their workplaces to commit to their wellness.
Personalized Wellness Experiences
[vendor_logo_first]Employers would build personalized wellness portals that can equip employees with the tools they need to stay healthy. Personalization can be done the way data is collected by e-commerce sites to offer new products to users. Wellness administrators can utilize information from employees’ health risk assessments, biometric data, and claims data to provide notifications and programs that are relevant to each employee’s health status.
Financial Employee Wellness Resources
Many organizations recruit diverse employees—some may be closer to retirement, and others may be fresh graduates. This may lead to employees facing unique financial stressors from each other. To overcome this, some employers provide financial wellness programs to help reduce this stress. These programs can include tuition reimbursement, seminars, personal financial planning, and payday loan assistance. The motive behind this is to offer enough services for anyone in your workforce to utilize irrespective of financial situation.
Points Programs Replaced by Wellness Platform
Points programs are burdensome since they often need users to log into several apps to check all of their health care information. Utilizing a well-being platform enables an employee to see all of their health data, including incentives, biometric screenings, and coaching, in an integrated place. This year, more employers would stop points programs and implement technology platforms or wellness portals that can help employees become more engaged in their health care.
