Inspire LCMS® by Rivertown Communications is cloud-based, fully hosted, and supported. It offers an easy-to-use, elegant navigation. Custom, dedicated dashboards can be added for organizations. The LMS has a responsive interface that delivers appropriately-sized content to any screen size—desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
Inspire LCMS® also offers an option to add a custom survey function to direct learners to specific learning paths suitable for them, their job roles, and their career goals. It is well-suited to manage Micro (or Just-in-Time) courses. Inspire LCMS® comes with an API, which allows for the system to interface with a client’s existing infrastructure for data sharing.
A core functionality of Inspire LCMS® is the “Content Objects” function that enables non-programmers to easily create and deliver courses. Courses can be assembled from textual content, videos, audio, graphics, quizzes, tests, and other materials. The integrated “Item Analysis” feature highlights test questions that are most often missed. This capability is crucial for admin personnel to determine if a test is too easy, poorly worded, or lacking content to support a test question.
In training, learner retention is all important, and Inspire LCMS® contains built-in tools to maximize retention. With Inspire, you can create interactive scenarios that allow learners to put the knowledge gained into practice, even if the e-learning being presented omits this level of interactivity
