Round Startup, led by La Famiglia VC, assists growing businesses in onboarding and developing their employees
Fremont, CA: From 2021 to 2030, the worldwide fintech technologies market is expected to increase at a CAGR of 20.3 percent, from 110.57 billion dollars in 2020 to 698.48 billion in 2030. FinTech has been one of the market's primary driving drivers since it enables convenient services and helps preserve transparency in terms of financial elements. Furthermore, a growing number of partnerships between government regulators and financial firms, and the implementation of advanced technologies by several financial bodies to provide integrated and value-added services to customers, are major factors driving the fintech market's growth.
Zavvy, the employee enablement platform, has launched and received 4 million dollars in initial investment from La Famiglia VC, a fund founded by entrepreneurs that invests in early-stage businesses. Emerge Education, Picus Capital, and many other prominent investors, including Renaud Visage (co-founder of Eventbrite and Venture Partner at Point Nine), Hanno Renner (co-founder and CEO of Personio), and Michael Wax, and all contributed to the round (co-founder and CEO of Forto). With solutions like onboarding, ongoing development, and connecting people in hybrid settings, Zavvy enables expanding firms to effectively automate employee experiences that improve performance and increase talent retention.

Career development is essential for why people join and stay at a company, especially for Gen Y and Z. If you're not enabling your team to develop, it's just a matter of time until they leave. At Freeletics, we learned about the innate desire of people to grow and how challenging it is to support that. The same is true for professional development, which requires easy-to-use, social, and embedded solutions into the workflow. An engaging and motivating experience is a must. In contrast, most established solutions are painful to use and insufficient, focusing on managing people's data, processes or content," said Joshua Cornelius and Mehmet Yilmaz, co-founders of Zavvy.
Zavvy takes advantage of current people data to keep employees productive. As a result, a new experience layer between HRIS and communication platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams gets created. Zavvy's no-code workflow builder saves HR and managers time by allowing them to personalize experiences to their specific needs and integrating seamlessly with their preexisting SaaS tool stack. Workflows are entirely automated once set up and expand seamlessly with a firm.
