An employee sustains an injury that prevents them from working in the capacity for which they were trained indefinitely. Depending on the state from which the benefits are received, they may provide the worker with lifetime benefits or terminate at the age of retirement
Fremont, CA: Accidents happen, and sometimes employees are injured and are unable to return to work right away. It is critical that employees understand their claim benefits. This occurs when an employee is temporarily unable to perform any of their regular work duties while recovering. The worker can return to work after a brief recovery period. The benefits received are determined by the state in which the employee works. Some states may limit the amount of money a worker can receive.
Permanent Total Disability
An employee sustains an injury that prevents them from working in the capacity for which they were trained indefinitely. Depending on the state from which the benefits are received, they may provide the worker with lifetime benefits or terminate at the age of retirement. Most states, nevertheless, pay benefits based on the nature and severity of the injury, and the length of time varies by state.
Temporary Partial Disability
When an employee is unable to perform all of their regular duties, this occurs. Because the employee is unable to complete their entire job, the Employer does not pay them their full salary. TPD advantages will compensate for lower-income and will vary by state. The difference between the employee's regular salary and their reduced income during recovery is used to calculate this.
