FREMONT, CA: "Violet Defense technology powers a wide array of products that can provide a customizable solution for virtually any facility, from conference centers and schools to hotels and hospitals," says David Scalzo, CEO of Violet Defense. Violet Defense has installed its proprietary UV disinfection equipment in the new office of AdvisorEngine, a developer of a wealth management platform for financial advisors, to address the nationwide trend of employees' health problems upon returning to the workplace.
"We're pleased to be able to give AdvisorEngine and its team a system that give them confidence to return to office safely, and with a solution suitable for their modern office, environmentally-friendly, chemical-free, effective and affordable," adds Scalzo.
"Providing a safe and clean environment for our employees is a top priority, and the standard of protection against germs offered by Violet Defense gives us peace of mind," says AdvisorEngine CEO Richard Cancro.
According to research conducted by McKinsey & Company, 30 percent of employees are anxious that returning to the office will have a negative effect on their physical and mental health. McKinsey discovered that "better air filtering was a top request, with 62 percent of respondents stating that it may reduce the stress they felt when returning to the workplace."
Violet Defense has developed cutting-edge UV technology scientifically proven to eliminate pathogens. Its pulsed xenon solution generates a broad, potent spectrum of ultraviolet light, including UV-C, UV-B, UV-A, and violet-blue, which increases germ-killing effectiveness.
AdvisorEngine's leadership team prioritized staff health and well-being upon their return to the workplace. They collaborated with Violet Defense to address proactively three concerns:
Providing employees the assurance that they can safely return to an in-person situation
The capacity to sanitize communal areas such as conference rooms between work sessions
It can disinfect IT equipment and safely trade show assets between uses without using chemicals that could damage the equipment.
Violet Defense addressed these issues by implementing an integrated plan consisting of installing Xenon UV disinfection systems in the office areas and common restrooms and installing Fighter units from PURO Air in the building's two air handlers.
The pulsed Xenon UV disinfection system features new Wi-Fi modules for increased system control, allowing AdvisorEngine personnel to schedule or trigger disinfection cycles from their desktops.
When 87 percent of the US workforce returns to the workplace at least two days each week, organizations must prioritize health throughout pandemics and annual flu seasons. Violet Defense's industrial UV sanitizing system is installed in office buildings, conference centers, athletic training facilities, hospitals, hotels, government institutions, schools and universities, and more.
