TSYS recently announced the appointment of Ryland Harrelson, Administrative Services, as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). Harrelson is responsible for global human resources, real estate, corporation, and cultural marketing and diversity and inclusion as senior manager of TSYS’ administrative services. Moreover, Harrelson serves as TSYS’ CEO of ethics.
“Ryland has been a key member of our executive team for more than 14 years and has shown exceptional leadership, subject matter expertise and strategic acumen as our CHRO,” says M. Troy Woods, chairman, president, and chief executive officer, TSYS.
Harrelson has served TSYS for over 20 years; Having joined the firm in 1998, he headed the human resources department. In 2007, he was appointed Executive Vice Chairman and CHRO. He has a bachelor of arts at the Wesleyan University of North Carolina and a degree in human resources at the Ross School of Business at Michigan University. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board for Riegel & Emory at the Darla Moore Business School in South Carolina University. Harrelson also works locally on the board of B.R.I.D.G.E., an organization which supports risky young people by helping them achieve their GED.
