The compatible merger will deliver best-in-class HR solutions to more than 350,000 employers and will bring out new and innovative ideas.
FREMONT, CA: The two firms ThinkHR and Mammoth HR recently merged; both are the leading providers of SaaS-based human resource (HR) compliance services. They bring together technology, content, and subject matter expertise to help employers.
The merger is highly compatible as both firms sell similar technology but work with different industries. ThinkHR excels in the insurance industry, while Mammoth focuses on depth and breadth in the payroll and human capital management (HCM). Their services are often packed as rebranded products. Over the last decade, both have come out with innovative ideas that include cloud-based, comprehensive content libraries, and a benefits document creation platform.

Now the companies have a network of more than 1,700 partners in the insurance, payroll, and professional employer organization (PEO) industries, which supports more than 350,000 employers nationwide. In this way, ThinkHR and Mammoth HR work with small and midsize companies.
Nathan Christensen, Mammoth CEO, is the new CEO of the combined company. ThinkHR CEO, Larry Dunivan, will take the position of Executive Chairman. The merger will operate two headquarters, one in Pleasanton and another in Portland.
As per the new CEO of the combined company, Nathan Christensen, the fusion is highly compatible in the services; through this combination, they can build more new things rather than creating multiple versions of the same thing. Their service consists of a library of legal, HR compliance services and a call center with experts. The union will provide more value to customers through technology, and bring new, cutting-edge solutions to the market.
The working strategy to sell their products is quite different as payroll will include performance management and onboarding tools. With the merger, both companies can now offer services as add-ons or co-branded from each other.
