A new alliance has been formed to provide professional advice to the global hospitality industry on critical issues like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
FREMONT, CA: “As the hospitality market continues to experience staffing challenges and the global market deepens its commitment to diversity and inclusion, effective and inclusive workforce management is becoming even more critical to the success of hotel organizations and industry vendors around the world. We are excited to align with Laura and the team at Sonata Venture Solutions to address these important issues and ensure the future of our industry,” says David Chestler, President of ProVision Partners.
ProVision Partners, a global strategic growth marketing, technology, and commercial services advisory firm to the travel and hospitality industries, has declared a strategic partnership with Sonata Venture Solutions, a leader in workforce development, leadership training, strategic planning, and business strategy for DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs across multiple industries. The new partnership aims to broaden the scope of ProVisions' services to address the growing impact of DEI-related issues on the culture of hospitality organizations and workplaces worldwide and improve the performance of diverse teams.
“Over my 30+ year career in hospitality, I have seen the industry make great strides in diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as leadership training and workforce development. Our industry has long supported a community where people of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities feel welcomed and valued - as employees, partners, and guests. By embracing DEI+ principles, we can continue to create workplaces and businesses that allow people to thrive as their authentic selves, leading to greater innovation, profitability, and social impact across the industry. We are thrilled at Sonata Venture to be working with the industry's best at ProVision Partners as the DEI+ and Leadership Training Workforce Development Advisory team,” says Meck, Partner Sonata.
Laura Meck, CEO of Sonata Venture Solutions, will join ProVision's Board of Advisors as part of the strategic partnership agreement. Meck has spent over three decades in the hospitality industry, serving in leadership roles with technology companies such as MICROS, Infor, MSI, and Oracle, and she founded her company in 2008.
