Though the organizations recognize that it’s critical to ensure that the staffs are engaged, loyal, and productive, yet they have underestimated the role of language proficiency for the enhancement of employee values and engagement.
According to a recent Rosetta Stone study, 80 percent of employees engaged in language training offered by their employer felt positive toward their employer, and 66 percent expressed a better engagement toward their work. Over two-thirds of the businesses accepted that less than 50 percent of their employees were adept in more than one language, while 36 percent of companies reported less than one in 10 multilingual employees.
