iHire—the Maryland-based recruitment technology provider—has announced the promotion of President Steve Flook to Chief Executive Officer. Flook will pilot prudent growth initiatives while continuing to steer the company's routine operations. Founder and former CEO will resume his responsibility as executive chair of iHire's Board of Directors.
Flook has been at the foreground of the HR and recruitment technology landscape for nearly a decade as a technologist focused on software systems and information architecture. Serving as a change agent with operational roles at iHire—including the president, VP of product development, and director of engineering—Flook led companywide optimization efforts resulted in magnifying returns and turnaround in a year. His endeavor led to the continuous improvement of their products and services while addressing the requirements of both the employer and job hunter market segments.
