Fremont, CA: Workplace safety Platform company Envoy secured USD 30 million in a new financing round to provide technology that will shape the modern workplace. With the widespread coronavirus pandemic, a unique approach towards the way we live, work, and approach things has become inevitable. The bitter reality that dawns upon us is that even as communities reopen, things might never go back to the way they were before. In light of this situation, Envoy announced the launch of its new product Envoy Protect, to help companies protect the health and safety of employees as they reopen their facilities - from offices to factories to construction sites to schools. The company also roped in Dropbox's Philip Lacor as its first Chief Revenue Officer.

Envoy opened the sign up for the beta testing of its new suite of tools, Envoy Protect. The software is built upon Envoy's workplace platform, and designed to integrate with the other products in the workplace. Envoy Protect will be available for free to anyone using Envoy Visitors, including those on Envoy's free tier. It includes features like employee registration, wellness checks, touchless sign in, and capacity management.
