“Our first introduction to The Leadership Challenge by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner was in textbooks during our doctoral studies when we were researching ways to measure transformational leadership outcomes.

It was the strength of the empirical research that is the basis for The Leadership Challenge that attracted us to the community of practitioners,” says Dr. Ron Siers, partner at Ascendant Global Leadership.

Whether Ascendant Global Leadership works with a group of rising leaders or with individuals in demanding leadership positions, it pushes clients to not just learn leadership behaviors that produce great results but to put them into practice.

Using the same model, Ascendant Global Leadership devised a solution for organization-wide leadership development at a private company that involved end-toend development throughout the employee experience. The program begins with probing questions to use during interviews; next, there are elements used during onboarding, followed by initial leadership core training; finally, a “graduate” leadership academy focuses on applying leadership learning with lots of peer-to-peer problem-solving.
