SEPTEMBER 2022HR TECH OUTLOOK EUROPE6The COVID-19 pandemic has made it clear for companies that the well-being of their workforce is in jeopardy as employees increasingly demand additional mental welfare support from their employers. Mental health occurs along a continuum of thriving and positive mental health on one end and severe mental illnesses or addictions on the other. In between, various conditions vary in intensity and impact that employers need to understand and support. However, most employees experiencing increased stress and anxiety at work remain hesitant to vocalise these challenges to their superiors because of social stigma. A recent report showed that 62 per cent of employees consider mental-health issues to be a top challenge during the COVID-19 crisis, with higher reporting among diverse groups. In addition, the report also indicates that 96 per cent of companies provided additional mental-health resources to employees, but only one in six employees reported feeling supported. As a result of lower motivation and work productivity, to depression and anxiety about unprecedented family needs, companies must prioritise offering their employees mental health support with the right mix of tools and experiences for individual needs. Forward-looking companies will be cognizant of how to tackle mental health stigma and support the importance of mental health well-being at workplaces through creating awareness of the same.In this edition of HR Tech Outlook Europe, we present the list of the Top 10 Employee Wellness Services Companies in Europe 2022, Top 10 Employee Wellness Solutions Providers in Europe 2022 & Top 5 Employee Wellness Solutions Providers in the UK 2022.
