DECEMBER 2022HR TECH OUTLOOK6Let's face it: managing payroll is complicated. Every HR professional knows the pain associated with it; manually calculating wages, deductions, and tax is indeed a complicated process. Also, there is a need to comply with the ever-evolving employment laws and regulations. Given that they might change according to the states (and that change is quite frequent), it is essential for businesses to stay in loop with them; otherwise, they can be under the scrutiny of regulators. And this, needless to say, is not good for any business.Fortunately, concerted efforts are being made to eliminate the complexities associated with payroll processing. Many automated platforms are being introduced to HR departments promising to make their life simpler and stress-free. And their adoption is also pretty high. But are they really serving the purpose? This is an ambiguous question to answer. The off-the-shelf solutions that businesses often implement often do not play well with their core tech stack. And they are left with two choices: change the core solutions or deploy another solution. Both of the options are not cost-effective and sustainable for organizations--especially stratups that already face a fund crunch. In such scenario, businesses need to find the right solution and customize it according to their unique requirements. Achieving this feat is impossible without the right partner in place. In this edition, our goal is to introduce organizations with evolving payroll solutions and the players across this space who are making a real difference.Payroll Processing Automation: The Need of the HourHanna WilsonManaging Editoreditor@hrtechoutlook.comManaging EditorHanna WilsonEditorial StaffAaron PierceAva Garcia Philo VazRussell ThomasVisualizersChris LynnCalvin JamesEditor's NoteCopyright © 2022 ValleyMedia, Inc.
